We are currently seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant (Mandarin and Cantonese) with experience in family litigation to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain digital files in accordance with firm policy and practice
• Liaise with clients on file progress and accounts receivables
• Schedule discovery and court dates
• Maintain calendars and reminder system for tasks and appointments
• Prepare court materials such as application records, authorities briefs, and various trial and appeal books
• Draft routine correspondence and attend to court filings
• General administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal program
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Solid understanding of litigation procedures
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including composing, editing and proofreading
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and thrive in a professional team environment
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to adapt to changing needs

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
